In this adaptation of the Biblical story of King David and Bathsheba, Foard presents a modern-day tale of love, power, and betrayal. District Attorney David King faces new challenges as his son Troy seeks to gain fame and glory, while David finds himself caught up in a-inflicted trial of losing the woman he loves and falling for Bethany, the wife of one of his best attorneys. The story raises questions about forbidden love and the consequences of giving in to temptation.
